St. Kitts Honors Outstanding Contributions to Tourism  BASSETERRE (20st November, 2012): St. Kitts celebrated its tourism product in grand style last Saturday, with an awards event that honored individuals and businesses who had made a positive impact on the development of the tourism industry.

KITTS, NOVEMBER 15TH 2012 (CUOPM) - Another regional task for St. Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Sen. the Hon. Richard “Ricky” Skerritt. He is also the immediate Past chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) and held that post for two years. He has been appointed to co-chair a “highly focused” regional aviation committee to facilitate air transportation in the Caribbean.
According to the Barbados-based Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) the committee, which also includes officials from the United States Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Antigua and Barbuda, and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, will also seek to enhance airlift into the region.
